The Masters College has defeated Mount Vernon 13-3 in 5 innings (mercy rule employed). The Crusaders are now clearly in a battle with the two final teams on their pool play schedule for a spot in this weekend's Championship Series.

North Greenville's next game with the Heavy Hitters of The Masters College is still slated for a 4:30 first pitch. I call them the heavy hitters because they have put up 11 and 13 runs respectively in their two tournament victories.
Mike Benjamin will be on the mound for the Crusaders, he will have the task of keeping them in check. Benjamin will look to pick up where Provence and Woodring left off with masterful performances in Games 1 and 2.
